Use warm water or a mild soap-based detergent ( you may just use shampoo or dish soap) to clean your jewelry. Scrub it with soft cloth or old soft toothbrush ( be sure the toothbrush is soft or it may scratch your piece! ) .
Rinse well, gently pat your jewelry dry with soft cloth and air dry. Make sure your jewelry is completely dry before storing.
Never use toothpaste, baking soda or any abrasive detergent to clean gold-filled jewelry.
Do not wear it in swimming pool as chemical reactions with chlorine and other elements can lead to tarnishing.
Avoid exposing your jewelry to salt water, perfume, hairspray, lotion or chemicals.
